Ibu Nichkhun mengatakan tentang kecelakaan itu. Inilah pesan yang dikompilasi dari dia:

"Saya tidak dapat menghubungi Khun, tapi saya berbicara dengan PR. Mereka mengatakan bahwa tidak ada yang terluka, dan itu hanya kecelakaan kecil. Saya senang bahwa tidak ada yang benar-benar buruk terjadi. Sekarang aku merasa cukup lega.

Aku sebenarnya benar-benar terkejut karena Khun biasanya mengurus dirinya dengan baik. Saya pikir hanya saja dia orang muda dan hanya memiliki 2 gelas, yang jika ia minum, ia biasanya tidak akan mengemudi.

Asrama itu dekat dengan restoran, itu sebabnya ia melaju, saya pikir. Saya merasa menyesal bahwa jika ini adalah apa yang sebenarnya terjadi, ia harus mengurus dirinya sendiri lebih baik. Ini adalah apa yang dia ingat, jika dia minum, dia tidak boleh mengemudi.

Khun biasanya tidak minum bahkan jika mereka memiliki perayaan setelah konser. Tapi dengan berita ini, aku tidak benar-benar terkejut karena dia seorang pria muda. Ini hal yang normal di masyarakat. Dia biasanya tidak minum bir sekalipun. Mungkin dia terbiasa minum anggur sebelum makan ketika ia berada di New Zealand .. tetapi ayahnya selalu mengatakan kepadanya, jika dia mabuk, maka ia tidak seharusnya mengemudi.

Saya rasa ini adalah pelajaran penting baginya. Dia beruntung bahwa tidak ada korban. Ini mengajarkan kita untuk bertanggung jawab bagi orang lain juga.

Dia selalu peduli begitu banyak tentang orang lain, sehingga sekarang aku hanya khawatir bahwa dia akan stres tentang merusak ketenaran band. Dia tidak akan khawatir banyak tentang dirinya sendiri, tetapi dia akan khawatir tentang menciptakan masalah bagi orang lain. Ini akan menjadi pelajaran untuk mengajar kita untuk berjalan di jalan yang benar. Saya pikir itu baik karena mengajarkan kita untuk tidak membuat kesalahan yang sama lagi.

Aku benar terima kasih kepada semua fans yang mengirim dukungan kepadanya. Hal ini untuk membuktikan bahwa dia orang biasa yang bisa melakukan kesalahan, tapi kesalahan harus melihat dengan cara yang jika ini adalah karena ia sembrono atau tidak. "

"I can't contact Khun yet, but I talked to the PR. They said that no one got injured, and it was just a minor accident. I'm happy that nothing really bad happened. Now I'm feeling quite relieved. 

I'm actually really surprised because Khun normally takes care of himself well. I think it's just that he's a young guy and only had 2 glasses, which if he drinks, he normally wouldn't drive.

The dorm was close to the restaurant, that's why he drove, I think. I feel sorry that if this is what actually happened, he should take care of himself better. This is what he has to remember, if he drinks, he shouldn't drive. 

Khun normally doesn't drink even if they have celebrations after concerts. But with this news, I'm not really surprised because he's a young guy. It's a normal thing in the society. He usually doesn't drink beer though. Maybe he used to drink wine before meals when he was in New Zealand.. but his dad always tells him, if he's drunk, then he should't drive.

I think this is an important lesson for him. He's lucky that there were no casualties. It teaches us to be responsible for others also. 

He always cares so much about others, so now I'm just worried that he'll be stressed out about damaging the band's fame. He won't worried much about himself, but he'll be worried about creating problems for others. This'll be a lesson to teach us to walk on the right path. I think it's good because it teaches us to not make the same mistakes again.

I'd to thank all the fans who sent supports to him. This is to prove that he's an ordinary person who can make mistakes, but mistakes have to be looked at in a way that if this was because he was reckless or not."

[News] Motorcyclist involved in accident with Nichkhun said to have suffered head and back injuries

Following the news of 2PM‘s Nichkhun being booked for driving under the influence of alcohol, another report has surfaced stating that the motorcyclist has been injured.

As mentioned previously, on the morning of July 24th, Nichkhun was involved in a car accident with a motorcycle near the Hakdong four-way street. At the time of the accident, Nichkhun’s blood alcohol level was recorded at 0.056%, leading to a probable suspension of his driver’s license and an investigation with the police.

A witness at the scene who also followed the motorcyclist to the hospital reported, “The victim was on the floor, bleeding from his head. An ambulance rushed him to the emergency room at Kunkuk University Hospital.” He continued, “At the moment, he’s expressing severe pain in his shoulders and in his back.”

Currently, this statement and the level of injury has not been officially confirmed. All that has been reported by the police is that both parties have decided to settle this through the insurance companies, and Nichkhun returned home afterwards.

JYP Entertainment previously apologized for the accident and revealed that Nichkhun would comply with all investigations requested of him.

120724 - [News] JYP Entertainment apologizes for 2PM member Nichkhun’s recent accident

JYP Entertainment just released this statement to allkpop, in regards to 2PM member Nichkhun‘srecent car accident.

“This is JYP Entertainment. Around 2:30AM this morning, Nichkhun who is an artist under our agency had attended a dinner with the entire JYP family present, following a rehearsal for a JYP performance. After having about two glasses of beer, Nichkhun was driving back to his dorm which is located on the same block as the location the dinner took place. On the way, Nichkhun was involved in an accident with a motorcycle at an intersection in the neighborhood.”

They continued, “His blood alcohol level was measured at 0.056%, and his license has been suspended. Nichkhun himself and our company are well aware that we were careless, and for this we would like to apologize. Furthermore, we will earnestly oblige to any follow-up investigations that may be necessary. Once again, we would like to sincerely apologize.”
