120726 - Nichkhun tweets an emotional apology to all his followers

After being swept up in controversy with his accident while driving under the influence, Nichkhun has come out of his silence to apologize for the recent incident to all his fans and followers.

The singer tweeted just recently,

I would like to write this letter of apology for such an irresponsible act. To the injured person, his family, the people of Korea, my fans, JYPE family and staffs, 2PM members, and all the people this situation has affected. I have betrayed the ones who have given me their love and support, the love and support I don’t deserve with such behavior. I feel the need to take some time off to re-think about my action and myself, to make myself a better person and never again repeat the same mistake. I am truly ashamed that I have disappointed so many, and I am deeply sorry.

This is following the official statement and apology released by JYP Entertainment earlier this week. Many had been waiting for Nichkhun to personally speak out, and the guilt and shame he feels is apparent in the heartfelt apology.

‘Idol Star Olympics’ Will Not Edit Out Nichkhun’s Parts

Surrounded by a DUI accident and being edited out of shows left and right, 2PM’s Nichkhun will still appear in MBC’s Idol Star Olympics as is. 

On July 25, MBC announced that Nichkhun’s parts will remain in Idol Star Olympics, scheduled to air on July 25 and July 26.

“With over 100 stars who participated in the filming, it’s close to impossible to edit out just Nichkhun’s appearances,” said MBC affiliate.

Commemorating the 2012 London Olympics, Idol Star Olympics added three new sports of fencing, table tennis and archery.

Kim Yong Man, Im Kyung Jin Boom, and Super Junior’s Shindong will host the program, while 2AM, CN Blue, ZE:A, T-ara, f(x) and others will participate in the sports events.

Woo: "For Budokan decision, we gathered everybody's opinion^^ We ended with the

A fan asked what the "point" of Sexy Lady's dance is lol

Woyoung:"Sexy Lady's dance point is...if you can only see my face ~ *^^*

[NEWS] Nichkhun's incident car on SBS

120725 - 2PM Nichkhun Apologizes in Written Statement to Police

On the morning of July 24, 2PM member Nichkhun caused an accident while driving under the influence of alcohol. 

Nichkhun’s incident was covered on SBS’ 8 O’clock News on July 24, revealing the scene of the accident which was captured by a nearby CCTV.


The motorcyclist was sent to the hospital, saying that his shoulder, waist, legs and ears were hurting. 

Following after the accident, Nichkhun was sent to the police station for investigation on the accident.

According to SBS News, in a written statement of what happened during the accident, Nichkhun simply wrote, ‘I’m Sorry’ as his Korean writing skills were lacking. 

Also on July 24, JYP Entertainment issued an official statement, explaining the ordeal and apologizing for the company’s carelessness on the matter. 

Nichkhun may be summoned for more investigations by the police.
